Small Kitchens - Big Impact
Design magazines tend to focus on massive kitchens with "miles" of counter space, built-ins, and high-style. But, many owners have small kitchens and face very different problems. Creating a stylish and functional kitchen when counter space and storage is limited can be a challenge.
By taking a nod at the past, one of our favorite ways to create the feeling of space in a small kitchen, is the "pass through." Angled appliance locations, bar areas doubling as storage and dinning areas, and the classic double-access cabinets, which allow access through front and back and let light pass through, are great ways to create a feeling of space while optimizing square footage.
